Be a VOLUNTEER

Volunteers make up a big portion of the HSDC family, they provide the essential support for the numerous programs that we run all year round. The following are urgently required:
 
1.HSDC Program: SENYEP ( Scarborough East Newcommer Youth and Enterprenuership Program )
Required: Instructor

Volunteer Instructors are required for our very popular FREE youth entrepreneurship training program. This is a 12-week course that runs every Saturday from 10am to 3pm at the Toronto Public Library (Bendale Branch), 1515 Danforth Road, Scarborough. 

2.HSDC Program: Computer and Internet Training Program ( Basic and Advanced )
Required: Instructor

This is a 12-week program and it runs every Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 9:30 am - 12:30 pm for the Advance Computer and Internet Training Class. And from 1:30 pm - 4:30 pm for the Basic Computer and Internet Training Class. The topics covered include:

Hardware and Software
Windows XP
Internet
Microsoft Office 2007

3. HSDC Program: Basic and Intermediate French as a Second Language
Required: Instructor

This is a 12-week program and it runs every Tueday and Thursday from 3:30 pm - 5:30 pm for the Basic French Classes and 5:30 pm-7:30 pm for the Intermediate French Classes. The topics covered are as follows:

Alphabeth
Phrases
Dialogue and Conversation
Sentence Structure
